Where, oh where, has Stumpy gone?
Stumpy gets a lot of love and attention from visitors and little hands (sometimes, a little too much love), so you may recall earlier this year, that poor Stumpers lost an ear!
We are working with a fabulous conservation trainee, to restore Stumpy to his glory days.
Further inspection showed that, as well as a poorly ear, Stumpy has a poorly tum, poorly feet and is need of a darn good wash!
So, Stumpy donned his rain coat and has gone to CMAS at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre for a pamper.
