Museum Makers - A friendly and relaxed craft group for adults supporting the museum through their love of crafting

Museum Makers

The Museum Makers are a craft group dedicated to creating beautiful handcrafted items for the museum. Items made are used to decorate the museum for specific events as well as to sell in our museum shop called Bumble Dust.

The group meets on alternating Mondays (excluding bank holidays) between 10:30am and 12:30pm in the museum. We ask all attendees to put £1 donation in to the kitty and this is then used to buy additional supplies. All supplies are provided though we are happy for people to bring their own crochet hooks, knitting needles etc if they prefer. We supply patterns and templates to fit in the theme for each session and we provide direction on what we are looking to have made. Hot drinks can be purchased at a discounted rate.

We welcome knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, sewers, needle felters, papercrafters and many more. Please be aware this is a club not a class so we will not be teaching you these crafts – you will need to have crafty skills, even basic ones, to join in.

If you want to know the upcoming dates or would like some more information please contact andrea.bartlett@trowbridge.gov.uk
