Trowtober Fest Stallholder Callout

‘Trowtoberfest’

What is it?

  • Our answer to the German tradition of Octoberfest, celebrating local food and drink made in Trowbridge!
  • Why? Because Trowbridge has a rich history and tradition of beer and sausage production over the years!

What’s happening?

  • We are calling out to all independent and artisan makers of cheeses, bread, pickles, sausages, jams, beer, cider and more who would like to take part in our mini food festival – Trowtoberfest – to be held here at the museum on Saturday 28th September 10.30am – 4pm
  • We will set out the pitches and position traders throughout the top floor of the museum galleries and learning space hub.
  • Competition – we will be holding a competition on the run up to the day, that is open to members of the public to create a recipe using local produce, (that includes at least two products from the business taking part with the festival).
  • We will be actively promoting and advertising the event and will publish a list of all the traders.
  • There will be live acoustic music by local musicians to create a celebratory vibe!

What you need to do:

If you fancy taking part and having a pitch please get in contact with Andrea Bartlett – andrea.bartlett@trowbridge.gov.uk with information about what delicious items you make and where you are based. Also provide details of your PLI.
