So this particular Object Highlight, selected by our Museum Manager Hannah, is a bit of a recurring theme but we couldn’t resist giving one of these beauties another highlight!
Pink beaded flapper dress:
I love this dress and recently it was saved from severe deterioration by a conservator, which makes it even more special. It comes from an era that I am fascinated with, a period of such enormous social change especially for women; it must have been such an exciting, vibrant time to be young. Also, it’s pink and sparkly!
