Drawing, painting, printmaking and textiles – experiment, engage and enjoy

Practical skills for creative minds

Our collection includes paintings, drawings, prints and graphic design from the C19th and C20th and we have regularly changing exhibitions as well as our biennial West of England Festival of Textiles (WEFT), which focuses on different aspects of textile art and craft. If you are interested in a practical workshop in art and craft we can offer a range of activities suitable for museum-based or outreach sessions, including weaving, printmaking, wet and dry felting as well as drawing and painting, led by the museum’s education team, both of whom are trained artists and bring a wealth of experience to the subject.
