World Wide Spinning in Public Day

World Wide Spin in Public Day happens every year on the third weekend in September and was created to share the art of spinning fibre into yarn! The team from the Wiltshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers will be on hand showing a range of different types of hand spinning; from the drop spindle through to the Great Wheel. You can even have a go at hand spinning wool on a wheel yourself. There’ll be weavers there too to demonstrate weaving on a range of different loom types. Come along to watch, ask questions, have a go and generally celebrate the brilliant art of hand spinning fibres into yarn!
