Poetry, Pimms and Punch with Josephine Corcoran

Join writer Josephine Corcoran for an evening of poetry reading, Pimms and punch. Josephine Corcoran is a poet, short fiction writer and playwright. Her work has been published, performed on stage and broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4 Extra. In September 2023 her poetry portfolio One Deliberate Red Dress Time I Shone, winner of the Coast to Coast to Coast Writing Prize, was made into a limited edition, hand-stitched journal by artist and writer Maria Isakova Bennett and launched at the Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool. All of the poems in One Deliberate Red Dress Time I Shone engage with fabric, thread, clothes and making. It includes poems after art, odes, self-portraits and seen-while-walking poems. In this event, Josephine will read some of her poems and talk and answer questions about the process of writing them.

Ticket price includes a glass of Pimms or punch and some nibbles, additional drinks can be purchased as well.
