Introduction to Amigurumi Crochet

Join us for this Introduction to amigurumi crochet workshop. This workshop will teach you the basics of amigurumi – a crochet technique used to create 3D shapes. In this session we will learn  how to read an amigurumi pattern, how to create invisible decreases and how to change colours. You can choose one of several animal patterns to follows.

Toy eyes and toy stuffing will be provided and there will be crochet kooks available to borrow if you do not have your own but you will need to bring your own cotton to crochet with. Please bring two colours of double knit cotton yarn – something like Ricorumi cotton would be great.

This workshop is NOT suitable for total beginners – you must have a basic understanding of crochet – if you have any questions regarding this workshop please email hannah.randall@trowbridge.gov.uk

The places are limited to allow all students to benefit from tuition. Tea and coffee will be provided.
