Friends

Go directly to the new Friends of Trowbridge Museum website.

The museum has a very proactive Friends organisation that supports us in a number of ways including through volunteering at the museum, helping with education, running the museum shop and providing financial assistance for purchasing and conserving objects. They also produce a quarterly newsletter -  you can download the current edition here. The Friends of Trowbridge Museum is also a registered charity (No. 105472) and have successfully bid for grants to enable the museum to run children’s activities during the school holidays.

They also run a programme of events that take place throughout the year including visits to private historic houses, an annual January gathering, talks and lectures, and they have an the AGM every March.

The support that the Friends Of Trowbridge Museum provide is absolutely invaluable to the museum, and is becoming more even important as the museum seeks to expand.
