Welcome to the Trowbridge Museum Community Archive – this is for you. We want your contributions to the cultural and historical heritage of the town.

If you have  created something artistic, regardless of whether it is a painting, sculpture, graffiti art, music or dance performance, even a particularly attractive garden we would like to showcase it on the “Create It – Show It” pages.

And if you have written or recorded something about the history of the town, perhaps you’ve written a brief history of your local school, or recorded your memories of life in a woollen mill we would like to add them to our “Your History” page.

As the community archive grows it will help to tell the story of Trowbridge as it happens, whilst making the history, heritage and culture of trowbirdge truly inclusive and available to all. Also, if you read something that has been added and would like to comment please do so using the comment form at the bottom of the relevant page.

If you have something to contribute please contact the the museum at david.birks@trowbridge.gov.uk and we will endeavour to add it to the community archive. We can’t guarantee to add everything, and there may well be a delay in posting your articlce and images up, but we’ll do our best.
